MLP Chinese Level 1-10

MLP Chinese is the curriculum in which our students, grades K-12 partake in classes, levels 1-10, enriching their understanding of the Chinese language. Courses are designed to challenge students but increase their passion for learning and their contribute to their overall mastery of Mandarin.
AP Chinese
(AP 中文）
AP Chinese is a course offered at Step-by-Step Chinese School aimed to prepare students for the annual AP Chinese exam often held in the beginning of May. Course content includes the skills necessary to succeed in each aspect of the test(reading, writing, listening) and knowledge of common/key topics.
HSK Chinese Level 4-6
(汉语水平(HSK) 中文 4-6级)
HSK Chinese is a collection of courses that aim to prepare students for the annual hanyu shuiping (HSK) exam. The exam is rigorous and tests a student’s fluency for the Chinese language. The course is extremely challenging and designed to push student capabilities in order to succeed in their testing.
Math Levels 1-3 (数学课 1-3 级）
Math at BBG ranges from levels 1- 3 and challenges students to their maximum problem solving capabilities. Students will continue to push their limits and explore mathematics in great depth, leaving no one unfulfilled.
Drawing Class (绘画课）
The BBG drawing class aims to allow students to let their creativity blossom, creating an opportunity to express their artistic abilities afterschool. Students will explore a variety of artforms including color pencil drawing and oil painting, all to challenge their personal expression.
Chess Class (国际象棋班)
The International Chess course trains students in their calculation, strategical, and tactical skills required to defeat an opponent. One may find difficulty adapting initially but will eventually master the techniques necessary to play a skillful and deep game of chess.
